Fit Guide

Robyn Bandele is Made for Tall Women

Yes, we have longer sleeves and longer inseams, but that's not all. The proportions of our fit are made for tall women and our extra inches throughout the body.

You'll find that our clothes fit better everywhere because the bust, waist, and hips are all lower from your shoulders. This means that the curves will fit better at your curves, highlighting your figure. And for those longer limbs? The elbows and knees are better positioned to make movement more comfortable.

How to Choose Your Size

No consistent sizing exists across companies. And since your proportions don't match average heights, it's best to choose your Robyn Bandele size based on your measurements rather than a dress size from another brand.

  1. Measure yourself. Use a measuring tape to learn your bust, waist, and hip measurements. As you measure, hold the tape parallel to the floor all the way around. It helps to check in a mirror as you go.
  2. Compare your measurements to our size chart. The chart below represents your measurements, not the finished garment dimensions. All garments have added room (called ease) to enable you to breathe and move comfortably. Some styles also have added ease for looser looks.
  3. Choose the size that best matches. Each of our product pages recommends which size to choose if you fall in between two sizes. Follow those recommendations to best match the look seen on the model.

FAQs

How do your clothes fit tall women of different heights?

Our standard size was developed from a fit model who is 6'2" tall. We used 3D modeling to test our garment fit on women 5'9" to 6'6" to assure the best fit on a range of tall women.

I have a large bust size, will your clothes fit me?

Our designs are based on a D cup so you'll find more room in the chest than most garments. For our tightest fitting styles, consider sizing up for additional room in the chest.

I'm 5'9" or shorter, can I still wear your clothes?

Yes! Our Denver dress and London shirt will look great on shorter bodies. They'll just have beautifully long sleeves. Other styles will likely fit too long on shorter bodies.

I don't see my size available. When will you offer plus sizes?

Expanding our size range is a top priority. We hope to offer plus sizes in our next full collection launch. Join our email list to get notified when more sizes are available.
