Finding fashion that truly fits tall women — and celebrates tall proportions — shouldn’t feel impossible. At Robyn Bandele, our mission has always been to change that.
This past weekend, during NCAA Women’s Final Four Weekend in Tampa, we brought that mission to life in a bold, unforgettable way: a runway show exclusively for tall women, featuring colorful, confidence-boosting fashion designed specifically for women 5’9” to 6’6”.
The Tip Off Fashion Show was hosted by Tall Girls United, an incredible community creating space for tall women to be celebrated — not overlooked. And for Robyn Bandele, it was a chance to showcase new spring styles alongside customer favorites, all on a lineup of stunning tall models — real women, all over 6 feet tall, getting their well-deserved moment to shine.

A Bold New Collection for Tall Women’s Fashion
True to the Robyn Bandele aesthetic, this runway was anything but quiet. The color palette was bright, punchy, unapologetic, and full of joy — because tall women deserve to be seen.
New pieces for spring debuted on the runway included:
- Mint green satin wide-leg trousers — perfect for dressing up or down
- A white textured mini dress — finally, a mini dress that’s actually tall-friendly
- A pink Stand Tall logo graphic tee — made to empower every woman who wears it
These joined signature Robyn Bandele pieces, some of which first appeared on our very first runway but haven’t been seen since. I also brought some couture pieces from my handmade collection, including:
- The hand-appliquéd linen giraffe dress — whimsical, striking, and a nod to tall elegance
- The silver princess dress — featuring tie shoulders, a bustier top, and full gathered skirt designed to move beautifully on tall frames
All pieces are carefully designed to fit tall bodies without compromise — longer inseams, taller rises, thoughtful proportions, and details made to flatter and celebrate height.

Designed by a Tall Woman, for Tall Women
As a 6’2” founder, I know what it feels like to search endlessly for tall women’s clothing that fits well and feels like me. That’s why I launched Robyn Bandele in 2023 at New York Fashion Week, earning national recognition from NBC News for "taking fashion to new heights."
Since then, Robyn Bandele has been featured twice on national TV by ESPN host and former WNBA star Chiney Ogwumike — a testament to how needed fashion for tall women truly is.
This brand is personal. Named for my aunt, Robyn Bandele Nash, who passed away in 2020 after a 14-year breast cancer journey, every piece is designed to help tall women stand tall, take up space, and live elevated. The day of the show would have been her birthday, and we did indeed celebrate!

What It Felt Like to Wear Clothes Made for Tall Women
One of the best parts of any runway show is hearing how the clothes felt on the people wearing them — especially when those people are tall women who rarely get that moment to shine.
Here’s what some of our models had to say after walking the runway in Robyn Bandele:
“This outfit made me feel like I could command any room.” - A. Hunt
“It’s giving from the office to happy hour.” - Jimmi L.
“I loved the collection, Robyn!! I’ll be purchasing soon!!” - Candace D.
“All the clothes are stunning! I loved modeling your giraffe dress!” - Helene A.
That’s exactly the vision of Robyn Bandele — clothes that make tall women feel powerful, joyful, and seen.

Final Thoughts
Final Four weekend wasn’t ready for this tall girl takeover — but we were.
Thank you again to Tall Girls United for creating the space, to every model who brought the looks to life, and to every tall woman who continues to inspire what we create.
This is just the beginning.
